On the front and end cover-leaves is written in Devanagari script:

Fol. 58 is unreadable due to focus out.

The work “Printed in Grat Britain by Stephen Austin and sons, LTD. Hertford” provides the following information about the King Bhava Siṃha Dev:

… he anarchy following on the flight of Hari Simha came to an end when a Brahman named KameSvara Thakkura was put in power by the Delhi Sultan. The exact date of his accession is unknown. Ghiyasu-d-din died in 1324 and was succeeded by Muhammad bin Tughlak (1325-1351), 1 and he in his turn was followed by Firoz Shah Tughlak (1351-1387). KameSvara "Jliakkura lived in the village of Oini, but his family belonged to the village of Sugauna, and the line of kings that he founded under the suzerainty of Delhi is usually known as the Oinwar, or as the Sugauna, dynasty. Fir6z Shah subsequently deposed him, and put in his place Kāmeśvara's younger son Bhogīśvara, who divided his kingdom and gave half of it to his own brother Bhava Simha. Bh6gMvara died in A.D. 1360 and was followed by his son Ga^egvara (died A.D. 1371) and his grandson Kirti Simha, whose reign was short. Kirti Simha died without issue, and the half of the kingdom that he inherited from Bhogtevara. …
